On 4 May 2025, members of Commandos MC, Twin Rivers Chapter, joined by members of Bordertown Chapter, descended on CFB Petawawa for the annual Fallen Jumper Memorial. This event honours the 7 members of the RCR and Airborne Signal Troop who lost their lives after being blown off course during a parachute jump and landing in the Ottawa River, on 8 May 1968. Lost were – MWO RJ Riddel, WO MP McDonnell, A/Sgt BN Chiswell, Cpl DW Clements, Cpl DH Fields, Cpl RJG Knight, and Cpl PJ Misener. Fair winds and soft landing, Brothers.
