Sometimes you need to pivot and readjust your plans. We originally planned to attend a charity ride near Quinte today; however, at the Smiths Falls bike night, we learned about the Ride for ALS in the Ottawa area, which took place on 14 June 2025. Having just lost an Alberta member, John “Salty” Moreland, to ALS a couple of months ago and returning from his memorial, we felt it was important that we be here today. There was a great turnout, and a stop at one of Twin River’s favourite spots, Top Shelf Distillers. It was a great day to be on the road supporting such a great cause. We’ll be keeping an eye out for this one next year.
